On June 21, China Culture Week themed in “Intangible Cultural Heritage：Inheritance and Innovation” successfully launched in China Cultural Center in Den Haag. Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy Mr. Chen Ribiao, Ambassadors of some diplomatic missions to the Netherlands, representatives of governmental culture authorities and important Dutch cultural institutions attended the Opening Ceremony together with over 100 local audiences. Mr. Yang Xiaolong, Director of Culture Office of the Chinese Embassy and China Cultural Center, hosted the ceremony.
Shenzhen Fangyin Chinese Music Troupe, in collaboration with Zhang Die, Director of Chinese Art Academy Europe, put on a wonderful performance featured in traditional Chinese musical instruments, such as Guzheng, Guqin, Xiao and Pipa, with the fusion of modern elements.
After the performance, all the guests availed the opportunity to tour the exhibitions of Chinese Gyotaku Art and Silk-road—A New Look, as well as on-site demonstration of Jiangsu cultural and creative products.
The culture week will last till June 30, 2017 and open to the public free of charge.
