Foreign Minister Wang Yi Holds Talks with Moroccan King's Special Envoy

On April 19, 2013, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Taib Fassi Fihri, special envoy of Moroccan King Mohammed VI.

Wang highlighted the two nations' tradition of friendship and fruitful cooperation in various fields. China would like to further enhance political mutual trust, personnel exchanges and economic cooperation with Morocco in the new era to raise bilateral cooperation to a new level, he noted.

Fihri spoke highly of the substantial progress of bilateral relations in recent years and expressed appreciation for China's invaluable assistance to Morocco during the past decades. He also hoped for boosting bilateral friendly cooperative relations to a new level.

The two sides also exchanged views on issues such as China-Africa ties, the Western Sahara and the situation in Syria.
