Hu Jintao Arrives in Los Cabos for the Seventh G20 Summit

On June 16 local time, Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in the Mexican resort city of Los Cabos for the seventh G20 summit due to be held from June 18 to 19.

At about 18:00, President Hu's special plane arrived at Los Cabos International Airport. President Hu and his wife Liu Yongqing were warmly greeted by senior officials from the Mexican government.

Hu's entourage including Wang Qishan, Ling Jihua, Wang Huning and Dai Bingguo arrived by the same plane.

Chinese Ambassador to Mexico Zeng Gang also greeted Hu at the airport.

According to the summit agenda, Hu and other leaders will exchange views on the global economic situation, the strengthening of the global financial system, development, trade and employment. At the summit, Hu is expected to deliver an important speech, expounding China's policies and propositions on maintaining growth and stability. Hu will also meet with leaders of relevant countries.

President Hu left for Los Cabos after concluding his state visit to Denmark. Upon departure from Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, Hu was seen off at the airport by Danish royal officials and Chinese Ambassador to Denmark Li Ruiyu.
