From December 1st to 4th,
2002, Mr. Zhang Chunxian, Minister of Communications of the
Peoples Republic of China, visited the Kingdom of the
Netherlands at the invitation of Mr. R.H. de Boer, Minister
of Transport, Public Works and Water Management of the
Netherlands.
On December 3rd,
Mr. Zhang held friendly talks with Mr.de Boer in the Hague.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral
relations, the cooperation between the two countries in the
field of transport and other issues of common concern.
During the visit, Mr. Zhang also visited the Port
of Rotterdam, some famous Dutch shipping company, dockyard
company, maritime institute as well as Chinese maritime
enterprises in the Netherlands.
