On April 13, 2013, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry. During the meeting, Wang pointed out that China stands firm against any hacker's attack in any form. The cyber-network security should become a new area for the two countries to enhance mutual trust and develop cooperation rather than sources of doubts and frictions. The two countries should calmly and objectively perceive and deal with problems in this area. They should join hands in maintaining a peaceful, safe, open and cooperative cyber environment according to the principles of mutual respect and mutual trust.
