On April 24, 2013, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with China-Japan-ROK Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat's Secretary General Shin Bong-kil. Wang fully affirmed the positive role played by the Secretariat in pushing the trilateral cooperation, adding that China attaches great importance to China-Japan-ROK cooperation and will continue to support the work of the Secretariat. Shin Bong-kil thanked China for its support of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat, saying that the Secretariat is willing to continue working to promote trilateral cooperation and make greater contributions to this end.
